"How are you gonna swallow all those?"- "Have we met?"

Ok so with all of the hype going on I went and saw the new Sex and the City movie.

And my review? Eh! It was ok...
The movie itself as a whole was pretty funny and was good for those who watched and loved the series but the plot... was rather boring and slow.

It took a while to get into the movie, the whole wedding in the beginning was unnecessary but pretty. The cameo by Liza Minelli was funny but kinda sad because, sorry Liza, you can hardly understand a word that she is saying! It was like a weird mumbling version of single ladies.

Plus the whole lead up to Abudabe just took too long. They never even get there until 45 minutes into the movie! But I did love the fact that when Carrie was freaking out about the tv in the bedroom (which by the way was sooooooo stupid!) that the tv show that was playing was Deadliest Catch on the Discovery channel! haha that's one of my guilty pleasures!
Some of the things that I did like was the character developments for both Charlotte and Samantha- well there was development with Charlotte and Samantha was simply going back to her routs unlike her character in the first movie who was Samantha but not quite.

We got to see Charlotte actually dealing with the struggles of motherhood and marriage! I loved when she went into the pantry and cried, she was just so fragile and broken that it helped you see the real Charlotte!

Now Samantha is my favorite character! She is just sooo funny!! In this movie she goes back to being the slutty-whore bag that we love! But its even funnier because we get to see Samantha dealing with the trials of her age-menopause!

Basically if you didn't watch the show and you didn't think the first movie was all that great, do not go see this film. But if you were a fan of the series and the first film this movie will be right up your alley!

Well, thats all for now.

Until later, I'm just Simply Bitise!
