"You're a wizard, Harry!"

Ok since I'm still obsessing with the damn Harry Potter movies I thought I should just go ahead and review each movie! :)

Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone:
The first movie of the series is my favorite so far because it
explores the world of magic more than the others because they have to introduce everything thing to you through the first movie so you know what is to come. It's also my favorite because you get to meet the characters for the first time and see their relationship start and bloom. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are so adorable as their 11 year old selves and you fall in love with them instantly along with some of the professors at Hogwarts like Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Hagrid! And who can't help but love Professor Snape who is constantly after the three first year students! :)

Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets:
In the second movie it seems to focus less on the simple fact that the kids are learning magic and more on the story that will continue to grow
throughout the series. The relationships between all of the characters will continue to grow in the second year and my favorite things to watch are the bonds of a strong friendship between Harry and Hermione and the beginning of young love/shyness growing between Ron and Hermione. It's also in the second movie where Harry and Dumblebore start to form their own kind of relationship with each other where Dumbledore takes on a grandfather like role in Harry's life!

Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban:
In the third movie the darkness of that will the movies will start to take in the future is introduced and you learn a lot more about Harry's past and the possibilities for his future. It's also in the third movie that Dementors are introduced, these are the guards of Azkaban and they will play a very important part throughout the rest of the films. Dumbledore's stance as their teacher is even more signified in this film when it is learned that he gave a time travel device to Hermione at the beginning of the terms so that the three can go back into the past to help change the future of those who had recent events come into extreme contact with themselves.

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire:
The fourth film took on a whole different purpose than the other films before and after this, instead of tracking the kids throughout their classes during the year they follow them as two other school join with them for a wizardry competition that Harry was unknowingly entered in. This year also shows us some breaking points in the three friends relationships. Ron becomes angry at Harry because he thinks that Harry entered into the competition behind his back and refuses to speak to him which in turns makes Harry made at Ron himself, then later as a winter ball arrives Ron becomes jealous that Hermione goes as the date of a very handsome and popular student from the all male wizards school that is visiting for the competition. Lord Voldemort makes his very first appearance as being back from the dead and out for Harry and that fact alone will change the lives of everyone to come!

Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix:
With the return of Lord Voldemort the wizarding world is in a state of chaos. With the wizards council refusing to believe that the dark lord is back, they send in their own member to be a professor at Hogwarts, Professor Dolores Umbridge who sets off to change the way that Hogwarts works. When Umbridge decides that she will not allow the student's to practice or learn defensive spells, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and a group of their closest friends gather together in Dumblebore's army to help each other learn the defensive spells they will need to know in order to face the dark lord when the time comes. Those spells then come in handy when the student's are faced to battle a group of death eaters who work for the dark lord.

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince:
In the latest films it seems as though life at Hogwarts has returned to somewhat normalcy with Dumbledore back as headmaster and the three best friends hard at work in their sixth year. But this year is where everything changes- Malfoy is chosen by the dark lord to perform a task that plays heavily with his conscience- killing Dumbledore! Meanwhile Dumbledore has Harry becoming friends with Hogwarts newest professor who might lead to some discoveries about Lord Voldemort's past that will help Harry and the others fight him in the future. Also in this film it becomes obviously clear of three major relationship- Harry and Hermione's friendship, Harry and Ron's little sister Jenny, and Ron and Hermione's relationship. All are tested with Jenny and Ron find boyfriend/girlfriends and the others adapt to having to be witnesses to their loves being with other people and in that Harry and Hermione's friendship grows tenfold!

All in all the series is utterly fantastic!! I think everyone out there should watch all of these movies... multiple times! :)

So until later, I'm just Simply Bitsie!!
